The Power of Prayer...

I'm ashamed to say I've never read The Power of a Praying Wife till now, written by Stormie Omartian. There is a section in there about the prayer of a mother for her children. What she's seen happen if the mother prayers and what she has seen happens if she doesn't. I LOVE this quote and have now made it my goal to pray this among other things daily for my family. May this also be a charge for you if you don't do so already. If you already do, keep up the good work. 16 Week Baby Kaake Update

I had my 16 week appointment today which also means in 1 month, I'll be half way there. Yeah!!! They found the heartbeat very quickly this time. Our little bean kicked the doppler 3 times within a minute which was oober cute. Our son did the exact same thing every time they tried to get his heart beat. lol. My uterus has not moved since the last appointment, which if you can remember I was measuring a month further along. It just grew really fast since this is my third. I have not gained one pound since my last month appointment which was nice. I had a little extra to lose but I'm guessing at my next appointment I'll have gained a couple pounds. I'll just keep eating and see what happens. lol. At this point our little bean is about the size of an avocado. How exciting is that? Our very first Muffin Tin Monday

I found this idea at this site and loved it! What a great way to ease into a Monday after a busy weekend and use up some little bits of food here and there. The kids are totally loving it.
