My mother-in-law recently got married and said there were several things she wouldn't be able to take with her. We had already decided Matt was going to build a hutch just like hers for our kitchen - someday. Well, my mil asked us if we'd like to have it. We offered to pay but she thought the idea of that was ridiculous. I ended up getting the hutch of my dreams this past weekend and we were actually able to transport it in our van. Here are some pix. A gorgeous tuscan pix my mom gave me to use will go over the small table by the hutch. Talk about perfect! We desperately needed the room since we actually lost cupboard space when we moved into this house. This has helped tremendously. Thanks Shannon! Oh yes and by the way, the rest of my teapots/pitchers are sitting at the church waiting to find their new home;)
Post Surgery as soon as I arrived home. For anyone who really knows me, I have always been completely terrified of surgery. So when I went to an ENT and he said I needed a tonsillectomy I was not very happy. I found out in either January or February and I couldn't make my appointment till the end of June because that's when my husband could get off work to help out. I wrote this so I could hopefully help someone going through the same thing. Without further ado, here goes. Week Before Surgery: This is when I started purchasing everything I had seen online that might be helpful. I also started setting up an area on the main floor where I could be inclined for sleeping and have everything at my finger tips.
